As pictured here at 25 months of age, Coalpit Creek Leader 6th was a solid Frame 5 (54.25 in. Hip Height). He weighed 1,740, and his heart girth was 89” with a Total Top Line of 85”. His dam was bred by Roy Lovaas of Hidden Hills Shorthorn Farm and produced until she was 15 years old for her owner Dennis Hoffrogge of MN. We feel confident that this young sire will go on to produce more of the same kind. We have nicknamed this bull “Easy” for his easy fleshing ability, easy going disposition, and for the calving ease demonstrated this winter. The collection crew at Genex told us he had quickly become one of their all time favorites for collection. In addition to his gentle demeanor and ease of handling, he learned the routine very quickly and greatly anticipated collection days! See updated photos below.
